ISC is an abbreviation of “International Stage Concept”.
ISC is the most innovative stage design currently on the market.
The enormous strength of the structure combined with the many rigging points provides new possibilities in set design and technical development.
The vertical tower bases, which carry the enormous roof structure, are made partly of aluminium and partly of steel and in the bottom section of the towers a 2.5 cubic metre water tank is included, which gives each leg a total ballast of around 4.5 tonnes including the actual weight of the structure.
On three of the stage sides 7.5 tonne cable is fitted as cross bracing, and as a vertical weather shield specially produced aluminium sections are fitted, containing tarpaulins with frictionless nylon sleeves.
This makes it possible to remove and refit the covers within a short period of time, which can be a benefit if there is a storm warning, or if a sudden need arises for extra openings for things like stairs or ramps.
ISC has a fixed depth and height, but can be adjusted widthways, and there are two basic versions with either an arched or flat roof.
The various versions and their specifications are described in detail in the subheadings.
